Saudi Arabia's Foreign Ministry welcomed the statement after Deputy Minister Rayed Krimly accused Iran of arming and training the Houthis in violation of UN resolutions and the Beijing agreement. The current escalation has seen King Khalid International Airport targeted 20 times this month and the deaths of at least 19 people. The Saudi-led coalition further claimed that unnamed regional actors provided the Houthis with advanced weaponry, including attack drones and ballistic missiles.
