Defense Secretary Wes Streeting confirmed in a statement to Parliament that the Royal Air Force will deploy counter-air assets that are strictly barred from conducting offensive strikes. These Typhoon fighter jets will operate to protect Saudi airports, cities, and critical infrastructure from drone and missile attacks. To support the operation, Britain is also deploying military advisers and an Atlas A400M transport aircraft for the movement of equipment within the kingdom.
