Saudi authorities briefly issued a danger alert for the kingdom’s Eastern Province before announcing that the danger had passed. The Saudi-led coalition confirmed attacking an oil facility in Sanaa and other facilities in Yemen, saying the sites supported the Houthis’ drone and missile arsenal threatening Saudi Arabia, ports and vessels in the Red Sea.
The Saudi strikes hit Al-Sabaha station in Sanaa, storage tanks at Ras Isa port and oil facilities in Hodeidah’s Bajil district and Dhamar. The Houthi-run Health Ministry said the Ras Isa attack killed two civilians and wounded two others. The Houthi-controlled Yemeni Oil Company said the targeted facilities contained no petroleum, its stocks were held in safe locations and supplies remained stable.
