The worldwide energy chain is under severe pressure as crude oil availability enters what Amin Nasser calls a serious squeeze. The chief executive of Aramco stated that commercial onshore inventories have fallen well below 6 billion barrels, leaving them as the last available buffer for the global market. Most of these remaining stocks are currently locked up and unavailable for immediate use, Nasser added.
