International energy supply chains require urgent stabilization through cooperation and infrastructure investment, said Amin Nasser. The Aramco chief told Al Arabiya that replenishing depleted crude reserves while meeting existing market demand may take up to two years, adding that the current supply shortage is a serious global problem. Nasser also warned that energy pressures will persist unless the Strait of Hormuz completely reopens, and announced a target to increase sales gas production capacity by 80% by 2030 compared to 2021 levels.
