In Riyadh, debris from two intercepted Houthi cruise missiles injured four people, including a child, and caused minor damage to 15 homes, Saudi Civil Defence said. Reuters reported that an evacuation order had been issued for Aramco’s headquarters, and employees were told to work from home the following day.
The attacks followed Saudi strikes on oil facilities in Houthi-controlled Yemen, including Al-Sabaha station in Sanaa, Ras Isa port and sites in Bajil and Dhamar. The Houthis had threatened retaliation against Aramco’s headquarters, its Riyadh refinery and King Khalid International Airport. The Saudi-led coalition said the targeted sites supported Houthi drone and missile operations. The Houthi-controlled Yemeni Oil Company said the targeted facilities held no petroleum materials and that fuel supplies remained stable.
