The lead in the Senate race marks a shift from a Suffolk poll conducted Oct. 1-4, which showed Turek leading Hinson 48% to 44%, though Hinson had held a 4 point lead in August. The Suffolk survey also found Sand leading Lahn more decisively at 55% to 43% for governor. Similar trends were noted in Muscatine County, a bellwether area of 41,800 people that voted for Trump by 15 points in 2024, where Turek led Hinson 46% to 44% for Senate.
