Nineteen liquefied natural gas cargoes transited the Strait of Hormuz in September according to S&P Global Energy data cited by Reuters. This total represents the highest monthly volume of shipments since the US Iran War began and follows a period of 15 shipments in June when a memorandum of understanding between the two nations took effect. The September traffic consisted of 13 cargoes from Qatar and six from the UAE, although separate data from Kpler estimated the monthly total at 21 cargoes.
