The result reverses a CNN/SSRS poll conducted between Sept. 29 and Oct. 5 that showed Brown leading Husted 49% to 43% with a +/- 4.5 percentage point margin of error. While CNN previously framed the race as a prime Democratic pickup opportunity due to widespread national dissatisfaction, the new data suggests the incumbent Husted and Brown are now locked in a dead heat.
