Religious Zionism lawmaker Simcha Rothman demanded an immediate investigation into what he called unprecedented vote bribery in Israel’s parliamentary election, telling Kan Reshet Bet that “the election was stolen” and that “if this isn’t investigated, there won’t be true results.” His comments followed the arrest of three Bedouin activists from the Arab Ra’am party at their homes in the Negev after police seized envelopes containing tens of thousands of shekels and Ra’am ballot slips.
