Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed raised $2.4 million from more than 65,000 donors on Sunday after former primary rival Rep. Haley Stevens endorsed Republican Mike Rogers, setting a single-day fundraising record for his campaign. The haul averaged $36.74 per contribution and included 29,602 first-time donors, surpassing the $1.43 million in individual donations El-Sayed raised the day after defeating Stevens in the August primary. Prediction market odds of an El-Sayed victory rebounded to 79% on Kalshi and 80% on Polymarket on Monday after briefly dipping to 67% following Sunday’s announcement.
