Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed told reporters after a Saturday rally in Sterling Heights, “I do not agree with the contents of that ad,” disavowing a Rebellion PAC spot produced by Cenk Uygur that blamed US aid to Israel for high grocery prices after previously saying only that his campaign was not affiliated with it. At the same stop, El-Sayed said his former primary rival, Rep. Haley Stevens, should not attend a Sunday church service in Detroit he plans to join with Rep. Jim Clyburn, adding that he did not “want any distractions” and was focused on defeating Republican Mike Rogers.
