The operator of the Corsicana campus has disclosed that its latest land-lease agreement for 910 MW of power capacity is with Anthropic, the creator of the Claude AI assistant. The 15 year deal for the Texas facility is valued at about $28B, marking the largest lease in the history of Riot Platforms and bringing the company’s total contracted data center revenue to approximately $38B.
Riot reported third-quarter revenue of $181.4M, beating analyst estimates of $161M, although net income fell to $4.03M from $104.5M in the same period last year. To finance its transition into AI infrastructure, the miner sold 20,264 bitcoin for roughly $1.5B during the first nine months of 2026, which reduced its bitcoin holdings from 18,005 at the start of the year to 2,418 by the end of September.
