The Iskra electronics plant in Ulyanovsk recorded more than 10 hits on Sept. 25 during a wave of Ukrainian strikes against industrial sites producing missile and air defense components. The targets included the Iskra facility, which produces parts for Kh-59M2 missiles and Pantsir-S1 systems, as well as the Efremov Synthetic Rubber Plant and the Voronezhsintezkauchuk chemical plant. Both rubber plants produce solid rocket propellant for Iskander ballistic missiles. The Iskra plant is located about 700 km from the Ukrainian border.
