A surge of outside spending has hit the Ohio Senate contest as political action committees target the incumbent Democrat’s reelection efforts. The super PAC Fairshake has allocated $55 million to campaigns opposing Senator Sherrod Brown to help unseat him from his position.
A GOP-aligned PAC called Enough Promises Ohio has also spent $1,581,354 to promote independent socialist Greg Levy through a vendor tied to the MAGA Inc. network. This effort to siphon votes from Brown follows comments from Republican Jon Husted, who told voters that if they do not intend to vote for him, they should simply stay home.
