The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has broadened its overall targets to 66 GOP-held seats, some of which Trump carried by over 20 points, in an attempt to force Republicans to shift resources away from competitive battlegrounds. DCCC political director Brooke Butler said the party could win between 218 and 240 House seats. This expanded offensive includes adding six candidates to a "Red to Blue" program in districts where Trump won by an average of 16 points, though Democrats currently hold zero seats in any district Trump won by double digits in 2024.
