Arm reported adjusted earnings per share of 52 cents for the second quarter, surpassing the 47 cents anticipated by analysts. The chip licensing firm also beat expectations for its other key profit metrics, posting adjusted net income of $566M against a $514.2M estimate, and adjusted operating income of $638M, topping the forecasted $575.7M.
The results were driven by a shift toward server infrastructure, with data center royalties more than doubling last quarter and total shipments of Neoverse server cores reaching 1.5B. Arm is also expanding into hardware sales via its lauched AGI CPU, which has seen customer demand top $2B through early 2028, though the company has only secured supply for $1B of that demand. For the third quarter, Arm provided adjusted EPS guidance of 52 to 60 cents, compared with a consensus analyst estimate of 55 cents.
