A recently released video shows a Russian infantryman firing a 9K38 Igla MANPADS at a long-range Ukrainian Liutyi drone above a Moscow highway moments before the aircraft hit an oil storage facility. This interception follows a report from Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin that 9,994 drones flew toward the Moscow region between Sept. 1 and Oct. 5, with 862 of those destroyed on their final approach to the city. Other Russian air defenses, including Pantsir-S1 systems and thousands of mobile teams, have been deployed to neutralize these attacks.
