Russia announced Friday it is completing its humanitarian operation in the occupied southern Ukrainian town of Oleshky after a 25 bus convoy delivered food, medicine, hygiene supplies and generator fuel and evacuated civilians under a ceasefire running until 10:59 p.m. local time on Nov 1. The operation, led on the ground by Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova and Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Lubinets and mediated by US First Lady Melania Trump, allowed residents to board buses for either Russian or Ukrainian controlled territory.
