The six day local truce in Ukraine’s Kherson region, the longest ceasefire of the war, ends at 10:59 p.m. on Nov 1 after neither Moscow nor Kyiv announced an extension following the evacuation of more than 750 civilians from Russian occupied Oleshky. The Kremlin on Sunday gave a positive assessment of the humanitarian operation and the coordination between Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova and Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets, while Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said the mission showed active hostilities can be halted and could build trust for broader peace.
