At least eight tankers carrying liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and jet fuel have successfully moved shipments out of Iranian ports since July. Shipping intelligence and maritime security sources report that Tehran smuggled a total of 4.1 million barrels of LPG by concealing these cargoes via ship-to-ship transfers among other Gulf producers off Oman. Analysis by maritime intelligence group SynMax also showed a tanker carrying Iranian jet fuel reached Myanmar in September.
