A second Emirati-owned ship, the Cape Dao, also sank off the coast of Oman on Wednesday after sustaining projectile damage on Sept. 23, resulting in the death of one Indian crew member. These losses occur as attacks in October have already exceeded the September total, with more than 24 vessels struck this month. While the IRGC Navy claims to target five to six vessels nightly, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore confirmed all 21 crew members of the GFS Pride were safely evacuated.
