Five people were killed when a missile destroyed a five-story apartment building in Pryluky. The number injured there rose to 26 from 20, including five children, and rescuers continued searching for people who may remain beneath the rubble. Two people were killed in Kyiv. Missile strikes also damaged five apartment buildings in Dnipro and four in Kremenchuk, while a drone damaged a residential tower in Zaporizhzhia.
Ukraine intercepted or suppressed 161 targets — five ballistic missiles, 39 cruise missiles and 117 drones — Kyiv Post reported. Strikes hit 18 locations, and debris from intercepted targets fell at five sites. “Russian ballistic missiles remain the greatest challenge,” Zelenskyy said, renewing his appeal for air defense supplies, including missiles for Patriot systems.
