Benjamin Netanyahu has become the most likely candidate to continue leading the Israeli government on betting platforms following a national vote that left the legislature divided. His probability of remaining in power on Polymarket climbed to around 53% after his political bloc performed better than anticipated, overtaking rival Gadi Eisenkot, whose chances of securing the prime minister’s office fell to 35%.
The shift in odds follows an election result in which neither political alliance secured the 61 seats required for a majority in the Knesset, meaning the final leadership will be determined through coalition negotiations. More than $76 million has been wagered on the prediction market, which reflects the speculative expectations of traders rather than official polling.
