Democrats surpassed 250 US House seats and are on track for about 260 as a national wave overcame Republican mid decade redistricting. The party swept all 227 districts where Donald Trump’s 2024 margin was under 9 percentage points and captured 30 of the 66 seats in the Trump+9 to Trump+18 range, ousting at least 30 GOP incumbents toward the largest House majority for either party since 1990.
