Ukrainian troops regained the eastern approaches to Mykolaivka, recaptured Zapovidne and Vasyutynske, and re-entered Malynivka and Tykhonivka, AMK Mapping reported. Russia regained positions east of Rai-Oleksandrivka and expanded its presence in the town’s eastern section. Fighting continues in its central streets, where Ukrainian and Russian positions remain mixed and overlapping.
Near Lyman, AMK Mapping assessed a further Ukrainian gain of about 28.1 square kilometers toward the Zherebets River, including control of Novolyubivka and advances to Makiivka’s western outskirts. Russian positions remain west of the river near Ivanivka and northeast of Yampil, while Russian counterattacks continue around Zarichne. Separately, geolocated footage of Russian drone strikes showed Ukrainian artillery across the Siverskyi Donets River southwest of Lyman, at a former frontline location now about 12 km behind the front, the mapping account reported.
