Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf told Munir that Tehran has "nothing new to say" to the US and accused the Trump administration of violating the Islamabad memorandum. The seven demands for resuming talks include $300 billion in US compensation, the release of $100 billion in frozen assets, the total lifting of sanctions, and US troop withdrawal from the region. While Ghalibaf stated that military threats will not change Iran's strategic decisions, Munir announced that the Iran-Pakistan border reopened on Tuesday.
