The artificial intelligence company identified Spark Capital general partner Yasmin Razavi as the only venture capitalist on its board of directors in a recent S-1 filing. The document discloses a distribution of equity in which no single venture capital firm holds a stake in the company larger than 5%.
Spark Capital has invested approximately $800 million in the company across six funding rounds. This ownership structure makes Anthropic the second tech IPO since SpaceX in which no venture firm possesses more than 5% of the company’s shares.
