The family and legal representatives of the late musician are pursuing damages from the maker of the Claude AI bot for the allegedly unauthorized use of copyrighted work. The lawsuit, which targets Anthropic, seeks more than $41M in compensation and claims that 274 of Elvis Presley’s songs were used to train the company’s artificial intelligence models.
Anthropic stated that it disagrees with the claims and intends to defend itself in court.
