The EU, Canada, and Lithuania revoked their official support after US officials objected to a specific program panel, resulting in the removal of their logos from event materials just days before the start. All three parties stated that parts of the conference program did not reflect their official positions.

The EU continues to provide funding for the conference despite the loss of its official sponsorship. France is the only other primary party mentioned that maintained its support for the proceedings.
