The New York Stock Exchange has enlarged the roster of service providers for its proposed digital trading platform, appointing Computershare, Equiniti and Superstate as transfer agents. The firms will help manage records for the venue’s tokenized securities, joining Broadridge, which was previously selected to build the infrastructure for blockchain-based shareholder voting.
Together, the newly named agents and Broadridge provide services to approximately 5,000 public companies and nearly 99% of the S&P 500. The proposed venue, which would enable investors to submit votes through broker interfaces and digital wallets, is currently awaiting regulatory approval.
