The disruption affected gasoline production and supply across the PADD 2 region, causing local price volatility.

ExxonMobil is now nearing completion of the restart of its Joliet, Illinois refinery, which has returned Chicago spot gasoline to the lowest price in the U.S. Retail fuel prices in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio are forecast to decline as a result of the restored capacity.
