Iran's Revolutionary Guard has reportedly raised its alert level and opened underground shelters at an Air Force base in response to the escalation. While Saudi broadcaster Al Arabiya reported that Tehran offered to reopen the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for the U.S. lifting a blockade on Iranian ports, the IRGC-affiliated Tasnim news agency dismissed the report as "lies and fantasy." Tehran insisted that it would only reopen the strait and resume talks if the U.S. fulfills 7 specific conditions previously conveyed through mediators.
