The outbreak consists of the Bundibugyo Ebola strain, first identified in a 65 year old woman who entered quarantine on Oct 6. That patient was the third case in the country and was linked to the first two infections, which occurred within the same family. Officials previously reported no community spread after tracing and quarantining 127 of 130 known contacts.
