Anthropic has designated approximately $70 billion for AI infrastructure payments over the next 12 months, according to updated registration statements for the company’s initial public offering. The AI developer has allocated $161 billion to Broadcom for chip leases and hardware, $121 billion to Google, and at least $110 billion to Amazon to secure computing power and data center access. The company also pledged $121 billion to SpaceX, and officials estimate that total obligations could exceed $1 trillion if additional unpriced agreements are finalized.
The AI firm’s total future commitments reach $895.4 billion, a sum that now exceeds the $866 billion in pledges made by Meta and trails only Alphabet’s $1.06 trillion. Of that amount, $448 billion will be spent by 2030, including more than $313 billion in purchases that are largely non-cancelable. These spending targets coincide with a reduction in technical goals, as the company now expects to have 3.5 GW of compute capacity by the end of 2026, down from the 5 GW target it provided to investors in September.
