Texans for Greg Abbott spent nearly $70 million between July 1 and Sept. 24, ending the period with $17.3 million on hand for the final 30 days of the election. State campaign finance reports filed Monday show the campaign raised more than $20 million during that window, outpacing the fundraising totals of opponent Gina Hinojosa in the third quarter.
