Anthropic’s S-1 registration for a Nasdaq IPO under the ticker ANT reveals that its future lease obligations jumped more than sixfold in the first half of 2026 to $321.4 billion from $50.2 billion at the end of 2025, with some leases running for 20 years, alongside a rise in non-cancelable purchase commitments from $54.6 billion to $265.6 billion. Total compute agreements reach $637 billion when including smaller and cancelable contracts, led by a deal worth up to $120.5 billion through 2029 with Elon Musk’s SpaceX and xAI for Nvidia GPUs that will cost roughly $3.1 billion a month once fully delivered in December 2026 and can be canceled on 90 days’ notice after initial lock-in periods end in early 2027. The filing also details compute agreements of about $44.6 billion with Nscale, $41.3 billion with Lambda and more than $20 billion with AMD, which agreed to buy up to $5 billion in Anthropic stock, as well as $125 billion to $150 billion in estimated TPU spending from 2028 to 2031.
