4th Corruption Allegation Hits Susan Collins Campaign

A previous report by The Intercept alleged that Collins used her seat on the Appropriations Committee to steer $345M to a military contractor for trucks and equipment the US Army had stopped using. Following those procurement decisions, Collins received more than $58,000 in campaign contributions from the same firm, while other committee members also saw an influx of donations after directing funds to the contractor.
