A military official told the Liberty Times that a procurement of defensive ordnance to strengthen territorial security is proceeding as planned. The acquisition consists of 462 AMRAAM-ER missiles for 12 NASAMS air defense systems, which are included in a broader April contract between the U.S. Air Force and Raytheon that also services Hungary and the Netherlands.
