A student in northern Israel picked up a military munition and placed it in a bag, which subsequently exploded and left several people dead or injured during a nature walk. The Israeli military believes the device was a BRB1-type submunition from a Hezbollah Grad rocket that detonated minutes after the student collected it along the Naftali Mountains Forest scenic route. The blast killed two people, including a teenager, and wounded 19 others, most of whom were teachers and students from Ma'alot's ORT school visiting the Ramim Ridge area.
