Private Helicopter Crash Kills 4 People Near Montreal

A private aircraft burst into flames in a rural field in Quebec on Sunday after running into trouble shortly after takeoff. All 4 people on board were pronounced dead at the scene near Sainte-Brigide-d’Iberville, about 50 km from Montreal, after the helicopter crashed.

The helicopter was piloted by Suzanne Jutras, 50, who had more than 500 hours of flight experience. Canada's Transportation Safety Board has sent investigators to the site to determine the cause of the accident.
