Google Cloud Failures Disrupt Revolut and Multiple European Banks

Millions of customers in the UK, France, Spain and Ireland lost access to 30 of Revolut's core services on Tuesday, including crypto and stock trading. The disruption follows reports that network failures in Google's western Europe cloud region hit multiple banks and other online services. Revolut's internal status pages indicated that disruptions to card payments, cash withdrawals, and transfers affected users across 38 countries.

The fintech company confirmed that all customer money and personal data remain safe despite the service interruptions. While a technical team is working to restore operations, Revolut has not provided a specific time for when all systems will return to full functionality.
