Home Office Recalls ISIS Fighter Who Planted 13 Roadside Bombs in Iraq

Windsor Castle was the site of a security failure last week when an Iraqi national convicted of terrorism was seen shopping nearby. The Home Office took Mohammed Yaseen back into custody after it was revealed he had been released to a hostel having served 6 months of a 2 year sentence for illegal entry by small boat. Yaseen originally provided a false identity and was only identified after fingerprint checks revealed his history.

German officials previously jailed Yaseen for nearly 5 years for membership in ISIS, during which he planted at least 13 roadside bombs in Iraq and guarded mass executions, including those of children. Although a UK prosecutor called him a danger to the whole of the UK, courts blocked his removal to Iraq on human rights grounds. Yaseen reportedly told authorities he arrived in Britain after seeing TikTok videos claiming the country respects human rights and accepts everyone.
