The Justice Department has charged approximately 350 members and associates of the Tren de Aragua gang since the group was designated a foreign terrorist organization. Aguirre allegedly led a "jackpotting" scheme using malware to force ATMs to dispense cash, resulting in more than 2,500 incidents and losses exceeding $63 million since 2017. FBI Omaha and cyber teams have already secured charges against more than 120 defendants linked to the network.
