The cloud computing provider Lambda is seeking to increase its capital reserves through a new round of financing. The company is raising up to $4 billion at a pre-money valuation of $14.5 billion as part of its last private investment stage before a planned initial public offering, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal.
Lambda is backed by Nvidia and provides infrastructure for cloud services. The current fundraise marks the conclusion of the firm’s private financing phase, establishing its final valuation before it transitions to the public markets.
