Adem El Adeb, known online as Pryx, told Reuters that he repeatedly begged an associate to avoid targeting the bureau's employment portal, describing the idea as crazy. El Adeb, 19, made these appeals to Saif al-Din Khader, a 17 year old suspect who was detained in Jordan on Sept. 29. Federal agents suspect Khader, who used the alias Rey, played a key role in the ShinyHunters group's theft of sensitive personnel data from the FBI last month.
