Flight OS82, operated by Austrian Airlines and bound for Vienna from Tel Aviv, landed in Sofia at 10:42 PM local time. All passengers were evacuated from the aircraft after touchdown and are being rebooked on alternative flights.

The airline and local authorities are investigating the claim, which some officials suspect is a false alarm. The incident is the latest in a series of similar security threats against flights to and from Israel in recent weeks, including a separate diversion involving a Delta Airlines flight on Monday.
