The supply of liquefied natural gas from Russia's Yamal project is being redirected to new buyers to avoid a total loss of market access. Novatek CEO Mikhelson stated the company is negotiating contracts to supply Turkey, as Yamal LNG will be completely excluded from the European market starting in January 2027 after shipping 95% of its gas to Europe in the first half of 2026.
