Algeria shipped 1.57 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas during the third quarter of 2026, a decline from 2.14 million tonnes in the same period of 2025. The export volume fell 27% year on year, data from the Energy Research Unit shows.

The figures were detailed in the latest quarterly report from the unit, which tracked the country's LNG shipments for the three month period ending in September.
