Whistleblower Who Exposed Howard Lutnick Links to Epstein Dies at 57

Simon Andriesz died by suicide this week while staying at a trauma treatment facility in the UK. The British banker provided 2018 emails and testimony to the U.S. House Oversight Committee and the FBI concerning the business relationship between billionaire Howard Lutnick and Jeffrey Epstein's Adfin investment, as well as alleged fraudulent activity at a Sept. 11 victims' charity.

Andriesz's disclosures contributed to a £96m tax assessment by HMRC regarding a partnership scheme at BGC and were the focus of a BBC documentary. Howard Lutnick has acknowledged visiting Epstein's private island but denies having had any business dealings with him. Andriesz was 57 years old.
